Our Properties

THE WILLOWS

The Willows is the original Harpley family property. It has been in the family for three generations and has some interesting older infrastructure including the blacksmith shop which includes an old set of bellows. It is very picturesque, with the Muttama Creek running through the paddocks behind the house. The block straddles the Cootamundra Rd - to get sheep into our main yards we have to cross them over the road, which can be a bit hairy at times!

LIMESTONE

Limestone was provided as a soldiers settlers block. It is a few KM's down the road from The Willows. It is a good mix of undulating country that we have pasture improved, up to some steeper hill paddocks. There was an old and very decrepit set of yards on Hoares Lane which we replaced with a set of new Proway yards in 2017.

BUTTS

Butts was acquired a few years ago now, fronting the Cootamundra Rd and Caulderwood Lane. It has a steep hill range through the middle of the block (paddock names are Big Butt and Little Butt!) and some good undulating to flat country either side of the hills. It adjoins Limestone in one far corner but we generally walk sheep along the road in between blocks.

SPRINGBANK

Springbank is the most recent acquisition, and is located west of The Willows, along Armours Lane. It has a mixture of undulating to flat country, with an abundance of natural ground water, hence the name - so far there have been quite a few calls for help when bogged in all the wet spots we are still locating! We have pasture impoved some of the flat country and since buying the propety we have started trading cattle alongside the commercial sheep operation. There were existing cattle yards which we have improved and extended to be multi purpose for sheep as well as cattle. The Manager Dan lives in the homestead on Springbank.
